    MEMBERSHIP
    TERMS

We believe in keeping things simple, fair, and transparent. Here's everything you need to know about how memberships work at Lift Club. No hidden catches, just the details.

    Lift Club

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you ("the Member") and Lift Club Harrogate ("Lift Club", "we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing a membership, single class, or Foundations Course, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Membership Overview

Lift Club Harrogate offers coaching-led training through the following membership options:

    • 4 LIFT
    • 8 LIFT
    • 12 LIFT
    • 16 LIFT

All memberships provide access to coach-led sessions within the Lift Club timetable. Memberships operate on a monthly rolling basis and renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled in accordance with these terms.

    2. Foundations Course

All new members begin with Lift Club Foundations, a structured onboarding programme designed to:

    • Introduce you to our coaching approach
    • Teach key strength training movements
    • Ensure safe and confident participation in sessions
    • Help coaches understand your goals and current ability

    Foundations typically includes:

    • 2-3 Small Group Personal Training (LIFT) sessions
    • Guidance on integrating into the wider Lift Club timetable

Completion of Foundations ensures you are fully prepared to get the most from Lift Club training. Foundations must be completed before accessing the full timetable unless otherwise agreed by a coach. Foundations purchases are non-refundable but may be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe if required, agreed with Lift Club.

    3. Session Usage

Your membership allows you to book sessions up to your monthly allowance. For example:

    • 4 LIFT = 4 sessions per month + additional sessions used for our wider timetables advised by Lift Club
    • 8 LIFT = 8 sessions per month + additional sessions used for our wider timetables advised by Lift Club
    • 12 LIFT = 12 sessions per month + additional sessions used for our wider timetables advised by Lift Club
    • 16 LIFT = 16 sessions per month + additional sessions used for our wider timetables advised by Lift Club

Sessions can be used across the Lift Club timetable including:

    • LIFT – Small Group Personal Training
    • GRIND – Aerobic capacity & conditioning
    • PERFORM – Competition-style conditioning
    • REFORMER – Functional reformer Pilates

Sessions do not roll over into the following month. Unused sessions are forfeited at the end of each billing cycle.

    4. Booking Classes

All sessions must be booked through the Lift Club booking app (Glofox). Members may book sessions in advance subject to timetable availability. Sessions may have limited spaces to ensure a high-quality coaching experience. Lift Club reserves the right to modify the timetable when necessary.

    5. Cancellation Policy

To maintain fairness for all members:

    • Sessions must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
    • If you cancel within the 12-hour window or fail to attend a booked session, the session will be deducted from your monthly allowance.

This policy ensures that spaces are available for other members.

    6. Payments

Membership payments are collected via monthly direct debit or recurring card payment. Payments are billed on a rolling monthly cycle from your start date. By purchasing a membership, you agree to maintain valid payment details on file.

If payment fails, access to bookings may be temporarily restricted until payment is resolved. Lift Club reserves the right to suspend access where accounts fall into arrears.

    7. Membership Freezes

Memberships may be frozen under certain circumstances. Standard freeze conditions:

    • Minimum freeze: 2 weeks
    • Maximum freeze: 8 weeks per calendar year

Freeze requests must be submitted in writing with at least 7 days notice. Membership payments will pause during the freeze period and resume automatically afterwards. Lift Club may allow extended freezes in exceptional circumstances (injury, pregnancy, etc.).

    8. Membership Cancellation

Memberships operate on a rolling monthly basis. To cancel your membership, we require:

    • 28 days written notice prior to your next billing date

Cancellation requests should be submitted via email to: info@liftclub.co.uk

During the notice period, your membership remains active and sessions can still be used.
